    Why Use Iron Hunter?

    Chemical Decontamination.

    Instant Visual Reaction

Reacts quickly with metallic particles and airborne rust, producing an almost immediate colour change on the treated surface. Confirms the product is working.

    High Viscosity Formula

Despite its liquid consistency, Iron Hunter has high viscosity combined with slow drying, allowing prolonged and efficient work on vertical surfaces like wheels and door panels.

    Neutral pH Safety

Neutral pH makes Iron Hunter safe for use on wheels, paint, chrome, rubber, glass and ceramic coatings. Safe for both professional and enthusiast use.

    Mint-Scented Formula

The formula uses mint fragrance notes to effectively mask the typical strong odour found in other iron removers, making the decontamination process significantly more pleasant.

    Application Guide

    How To Use Iron Hunter.

    01

    Pre-Rinse

Pre-rinse the surface with clean water to remove loose dirt. Iron Hunter works most effectively on a rinsed but not dried surface.

    02

    Apply

Apply Iron Hunter directly from the bottle to wheels and paintwork. The product is ready to use — no dilution required.

    03

    Dwell

Allow approximately 3–5 minutes dwell time. The surface will visibly turn red as the product reacts with iron particles. Do not allow to dry.

    04

    Agitate

On heavily contaminated wheels, agitate lightly with a soft wheel brush before rinsing to assist removal of bonded particles.

    05

    Rinse

Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer. Repeat if necessary on heavily contaminated surfaces. Follow with Tar & Glue Remover if required.

    Usage Notes

Dilution Required None — Ready To Use
    Dwell Time 3–5 minutes
Repeat Application If required on heavy contamination

Do not allow Iron Hunter to dry on the surface. Work in a shaded area. Safe for ceramic coatings and hard waxes.

    Iron Hunter FAQ

    Common Questions.

What is the colour change reaction?

Iron Hunter contains a chemical compound that reacts with ferrous (iron) particles, forming a red-purple complex. This visible reaction confirms the product is working and shows where contamination is present.

Is it safe on ceramic coatings?

Yes. Iron Hunter has a neutral pH and is safe for use on ceramic-coated surfaces. It will not degrade or strip ceramic coating protection.

Can it be used on chrome and alloy wheels?

Yes. Iron Hunter is safe for chrome, alloys and most wheel finishes. Always test on a small area first on delicate or custom finishes.

    How long should it dwell?

Allow 3–5 minutes. The colour change reaction is visible within seconds. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.

Can it be used on painted body panels?

Yes. Iron Hunter works on paintwork as well as wheels. Use it as part of a full decontamination process before polishing or ceramic coating application.

How often should decontamination be performed?

Every 3–6 months as part of a seasonal detail, or whenever significant iron contamination is visible. High-brake-use vehicles may require more frequent decontamination.
